Utah State played BYU in basketball last night in Logan. Let’s just say that the Aggies humbled the Cougars! The Aggies have a 37 game home winning streak and have won 52 of their last 53 at home. Yeah baby!
We love going to go games at the Spectrum and this is why…(and BYU fans, remember, “Thou shalt not covet”)
Seriously, it is one of the loudest places I have ever been in my life. Aggie fans are a little disrespectful crazy and dedicated and really know how to intimidate the opposing team.
I think Merritt may have cried when he realized his office Christmas party was scheduled the same night as the BYU game. We heard it was absolutely incredible! Students waited outside for hours to get seats and they had to turn over 500 students away!
P.S. Just so you know we would root for BYU if they were playing anybody else.

Cougars Rock! Aggies are scared to play them outside of the Spectrum. Gotta give the Aggies something though. The one win they get against the Cougs when they hoop it up at the Spectrum is all they have to look forward to for months on end. Football, uh no. Basketball away from Logan, uh no. Kind of sad really. :)

Sorry dude, it was actually BYU's coach who refused to play in Logan last year going against 100 years of tradition.
And by the way, Stew has offered to play a home/home game series with any team out there...not just BYU. No one wants to take him up on his offer. Tell me again who's scared?
We look forward to going to the Marriot Center next year.
