We love when Kelly and Danette and their family come to visit. It isn’t as often as we like but it is always a good time!
This time we got to spend time with them up at Grandma’s cabin. We had fun filled days…much of it spent on the water.
We floated Box Canyon. Even Grandma joined us on this adventure. There was lots of smiles and laughing…and Grandma and Maryn may or may not have tipped over in the canoe on the second trip down the river…oops.
Maggie was a bit grumpy to start out but Sam soon took care of that…aw…such a sweet big brother…
We also spent some time playing off the dock there at Rancho McCrae.
And the boys used Uncle Kelly as a target while skipping rocks.
We also spent a day at Cliff Lake. I haven’t been there since I worked in Island Park during high school. I forgot how beautiful it is. We spent hours paddling and swimming around in the clear blue water.
Little Owen thought he would see how the rocks tasted…
There was a rousing game of Quelf…which must explain this…
We also had a visit from a mama moose and her two little babies. They came right into Grandma’s yard and stayed around for quite awhile.
After a long fun filled weekend the boys decided they didn’t get enough water in Island Park and cooled off in the sprinklers.
