Just, like February, the month of March was amazingly, unbelievably awesome.
First question… Is that not a scoreboard? Yes that is a scoreboard. Is that not a 42? Yes that is a 42. Is that not a 38? Yes that is a 38. Winning Team!!!! Alex’s basketball officially won their first (and possibly only) game of the season.
Also, for some strange reason, the kids had the intense desire one afternoon to make the “mother of all forts”.
They were very proud of themselves.
So proud, in fact, that they may or may not have slept in the fort for the better part of a week.
The early part of March had some amazing weather.
Seriously, you would have thought that it was the middle of May!!!
We took the opportunity for some quality playground time.
Alex showed off his skillzzzzz.
It was poetry in motion.
However… his father won all of the style points for the day.
With the great weather, the children had the novel idea (which was completely and totally safe, by the way) to combine the trampoline with the basketball hoop.
I mean… what could possibly go wrong?
Even though it may appear that Sam attempted to block Alex’s super sweet dunk with his head through the hoop… there was nothing even remotely dangerous going on here.
Contrary to popular belief… white men can, in fact, jump (provided they have a trampoline and an adjustable basketball hoop).
If this ever becomes an Olympic sport, we might just have a shot at fame!!
Just like that… the snow we were waiting for all winter came…
But then it melted like the next day so we thought to ourselves… “Selves… this would be a perfect time to break out the hot dogs and smores!!!”
By the way… food just tastes awesome outside.
Don’t we all just look cozy?
Of course, Sammy had to do smores with his own flair… roasted Peeps instead of marshmallows. (I may have just thrown up a little in my mouth).
Beautiful day!!
Then, of course this happened. On the last day of the month, no less.
It was like Old Man Winter was sitting there thinking… “Hey… these Idaho folks are getting a little to comfy with their balmy subtropicalness. I have been saving this us all winter… Take this, suckers!”
I guess the kids sure didn’t seem to mind.
They just look miserable, don’t they?
The little princess had waited all winter long with only one wish…
Everyone sing with me… “Do you want to build a snowman?”
Not only is Mandee smoking hot… she is also super mom!
“Hi, my name is Olaf. I like warm hugs!”
