For some reason… one of our children, who shall remain unnamed (although I will give you a hint… his name rhymes with “Alex”)… has a particular knack for making an incredible mess while cooking.
This isn’t the first “butter finger” experience, either. He had a very unfortunate mishap with a pizza a while back (but we don’t need to go into that).
Oh well. I guess that we shouldn’t complain… how many 12 year old boys (who shall still remain unnamed) actually like to cook for their little brother and sister. He even lets the little princess help out. Great kid… just needs to figure out how to grip a pan a little better.
