Snow Day

Today was one of those few days that we had an awesome amount of snow.  To celebrate… Sammy decided that he needed a couple of friends over.

Of course, the only real way to enjoy the snow is to bury one of those friends:

We also decided that it would be a great idea to make a snow cave.  Unfortunately, the amount of snow limited the size of the snow cave somewhat.  At least Sammy could fit one foot in it.

One very smart father, who shall remain unnamed, was able to convince the boys to shovel the driveway as well.  Driveway snow makes the best snowmen, right?

Our little princess couldn’t sit around and let the big boys have all of the fun.  She desperately wanted a snow man of her own.

It had to be just right (she is already become a little perfectionist… just like her Mommy).

Also… it had to be a “little” snow man.  Her very frustrating Daddy kept trying to make a “big” snow man.  Little girls do not have big snow men, don’t you know.

She was very proud of herself… and her Daddy, too.
