We try and make it to a couple of USU Aggie football games each year. This Friday we were fortunate enough to be able to attend the “Battle of the Brothers” (aka Utah State University vs University of Utah).
We were happy to have Alex’s friend Joseph with us (yes… not only are we indoctrinating our own children into the cult of the Aggies… we are brainwashing their friends as well.)
Maggie “the Aggie” was pumped to be there with her big brother.
You have to admit… she is very cute in a football jersey.
You may have realized that there was a certain member of our family missing. Sammy got a better offer…
Mema and Papa invited him to spend the night (and make a spook alley in the basement). Who could pass that up?
As always, the crowd was amazing.
They got a little too loud for the Princess at times.
She did get into the spirit, though. I was yelling, “Go Aggies, Go.” Maggie kept correcting me, “No, Daddy… Stay Aggies, Stay!”
It was a crazy and hard fought game. In the end, the little brother (aka… the good guys) won. Needless to say, the Aggie faithful stormed the field. Yet another reason why we love college sports.
