Alex has been very traumatized. About a month ago Alex and Sam had their dental check up. Alex had cavities. When we went back for his fillings he had so much infection and swelling that after several attempts to drill it the dentist gave up and sent us home with and antibiotic. Apparently Alex had a toothache for quite some time but did not tell me for fear of the dentist. Yesterday we went back and had x-rays of the roots. The teeth had to come out. Alex was screaming and crying and I hated to watch it. He has had teeth pulled before but they were already loose and just needed help because the new teeth were already grown in. These were back teeth and because of the infection very painful. Now we have the joy of going to an orthodontist to get spacers put in. So much fun.
Alex is being so paranoid about everything. He wouldn't swallow for awhile and therefor was very drooly. He has also been talking funny ever since. This morning he was still talking like he did when he was numbed up and had gauze sticking out of his mouth. It is actually quite hilarious. He loves to over exaggerate things.

Gosh, it's not like Alex to exaggerate things. I'm so surprised.... NOT!
I hope he is feeling better. If it makes him any happier, I don't much enjoy going to the dentist either:)
